I'm a fourth-year student at the University of Virginia studying biomedical engineering. Photography has been a fierce passion of mine over the last 10 years, and I enjoy capturing the memories, events, and special moments that make each of our lives remarkable. I love meeting new people and getting to know each person's story, and my background as an engineer draws me to find beauty in the small details and novel perspectives.
When I was 11, I was given a camera for my birthday and, thus, began a journey of a lifetime. The cameras changed throughout the years, but I always had one in my hands. Through it, I learned to not just see - but to observe. Through the viewfinder, I found untold stories waiting to be captured and remembered to bring joy.
When I'm not running around with a camera in my hands or running experiments in the lab, you can often find me hanging out with my friends at the local diner, playing chess, or strumming on my guitar (while pretending to know how to sing).
